E Ride Pro Battery BMS key Instructions


Installation

  1. Make sure your bike is off
  2. Turn off the breaker (if equipped)
  3. Remove original 4 pin battery data connector and wrap it with electrical tape or heat shrink tubing to keep dry and clean.
  4. Tuck the original battery data cable under the key plate as you will no longer be needing it. 

Now it’s time to get riding!

  1. Make sure your bike is off
  2. Connect the main battery harness and make sure it is fully seated
  3. Turn on the breaker (if Equipped)
  4. Plug in the BMS Key (wait 5 seconds this will turn on the battery) *1
  5. Turn on your bike and enjoy the ride (you can now turn on and off your bike at will)

Storage or removing your battery

  1. Make sure your bike is off
  2. Remove the BMS key (this will turn off the battery)
  3. Turn off breaker (if equipped)
  4. You can now store your bike or remove the battery

Note: Remove the BMS key anytime you are no longer riding / storing your bike

*1 : You only need to wait 5 seconds before you turn on the bike when you plug in the BMS key. You do not need to remove the BMS key every time you turn off your bike! Removal of the BMS key is only necessary when you intend to store your bike or remove the battery.
