🛠️ Battery Lid Removal Instructions

1. Power Down & Remove Battery

  • Turn the bike OFF completely
  • Remove the battery and place it on a clean, stable surface

2. Remove Screws

  • Use a T20 Torx bit/driver
  • Remove all 10 battery lid screws
  • Set screws aside in a safe place

3. Lift Lid Carefully

  • Gently lift the lid
  • Do not force — check for missed screws if resistance is felt
  • Do not drop screws or metal objects into the battery
  • Once opened, use packing tape to cover exposed openings
  • This helps prevent debris from falling into the battery case

4. Disconnect Connector & Wires

  • Take photos before disconnecting any wires
  • Carefully unplug the connector from the internal board
  • Pull straight out — do not twist or pry
  • Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the main battery wires
  • Connections may be covered with silicone — remove enough to access screws

5. Remove Lid

  • Fully remove the lid
  • Inspect for any visible damage before shipping
