Designed for the RadRunner Plus (MY2025), RadRunner 3 Plus, and RadRunner Max, the Range Extender doesn’t just boost your range — it makes your ebike dual-battery capable. That means reduced strain and improved long-term battery life through smarter power distribution.

In a hurry? Your ebike can still run on just one battery, so you’re never stuck waiting to charge both. And for even more convenience, you can mix and match 14Ah and 15Ah Rad batteries so you can customize your setup for the range you need.

Compatibility

  • Compatible with RadRunner Plus (MY2025), RadRunner Max, and RadRunner 3 Plus.
  • Compatible batteries include Safe Shield™ Advanced Semi-Integrated Battery (15 Ah), Safe Shield™ Semi-Integrated Battery (14 Ah)
  • Compatible accessories include all pannier bags, hardshell locking box, passenger seats, passenger bars, caboose, and Thule Yepp Maxi child seats. Not currently compatible with Rad Fat Tire Wheel Lock

  • Comes with mounting bracket, a lockable battery enclosure, a battery doubler (pre-installed onto the mounting bracket), 2 foldable keys, 2 sets of 2 extension wires, 2 sets of hardware kits, a hex head L-Key (Allen Wrench), an open faced wrench, 2 rubber bumper pads, 6 zip ties, and an instruction manual. Battery is sold separately
  • Bike battery and range extender battery will need to be charged separately. To charge both simultaneously, use a second Rad Battery Charger (sold separately)
